Planning a career in Pittsburgh’s energy sector? If so, the future is looking bright.
Channel 11 will help you discover the opportunities available to you in its “Take This Job and Love It” hour-long special on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.
The special is based on newly released data by the Allegheny Conference on Community Development and the Energy Alliance of Greater Pittsburgh. The groups’ report identifies fourteen target jobs that are vital to the growing energy boom. According to the report, the jobs are so vital employers might have a challenge when finding people to fill the positions. Details from the online jobs survey and complete job profiles for each of the 14 Target Jobs are available in the full report here.
“Take This Job and Love It” will feature area workers employed in the fourteen “hot” occupations. They will describe their work. Hints for obtaining help with education expenses will be revealed as well as tips on how to prepare for the vast opportunities available.
In addition to its initial airing on WPXI, “Take This Job and Love It” will re-air on PCNC on Sunday, September 30th at 4:30pm and 10pm and Wednesday, October 3rd at 8pm.
